I recommend the Antec Skeleton as your new case, I hear it has excellent cooling dust-attracting capabilities. |

coolermaster CM 690 II for mid tower case, if overclocking, look at the ud5, and ram, cosair dominator 6b kit $220 or so, the NB on the ud3r gets very hot quick google shows its a common problem |

Above sounds good. Except i'd go with a full tower case such as the Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 (pretty much the 1200 with fan filters that can be removed without undoing 24+ screws), or one of the Lian Li full tower cases. |

tbh, full tower cases are intended to sit on the floor, unless you have an abnormally large desk, im contemplating changing back to a mid tower case atm, also one not as bright, or one that allows me to turn all the LED's off. |

dont forget a quality PSU aswell, corsair HX750 would be good, but a HX850 will allow plenty of head room for future expansion. |

I wish Fractal Design had been around when I built my last computer since their case is pretty much exactly what I was after. |

I've read that Consair have the best PSUs because they retag another brand which is known for quality. I'll be upgrading my psu to a consair eventually |

Silverstone. Any non-generic PSU is good and will do the job though. |

I agree with the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 as it has been given damn good reviews and a nice board layout as well.
A couple of idea's on the ram - G.Skill Trident 6GB (3x2GB) PC3 16000 (2000MHz) DDR3 Triple Channel RAM or Mushkin Ridgeback 6GB (3x2GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3 Triple Channel RAM or Mushkin Redline 6GB (3x2GB) PC3-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3 Triple Channel RAM.

@Worthless. I'm buying a psu for my storage server, which I dont want one to just do the job, I want one that has the build quality considering the most common thing to fail is the psu. |

Power supply idea's start with the Corsair HX-850Power Supply as a single rail idea, OCZ Z Series 850W Modular or the quad 12v idea Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W TPQ-1000. Enermax also have damn sweet power supplies, but not cheap :( |
